This is my first time participating. I love the challenge of writing super short stories so here it is:
Spiderella the Spinster
Spiderella waited. The cobweb was swept and shiny from a magical potion she sprinkled on it. She had to make it strong before hanging all those candies! Her brother the truck driver delivered the pumpkins. She even made a ghost costume from a handkerchief. Still, nobody knocked on the web. She cried so much that she flooded the ladybird’s house below. The ladybird ALMOST screamed, “What this old spinster is up to?” but she heard the sobs and called all her friends instead. And they came!
Sometimes all you need is one magical friend and that will do the trick.
